Thanks for pointing out the Mailing list link - I fixed that.
Regarding licensing - Mapstraction is under a BSD-style license. What
are the examples or knowledge about using BSD code in GPL licensed
Code?
For a simple answer - I would assume if you just use the Mapstraction
"API" then it is easier and acts like a library or uncompiled
application. However, IANAL, so I would appreciate any additional
insight into this.
With regards to the question if you "may", I believe everyone involved
would say "yes" - we're all about Mapstraction getting used.
